Where/When: Just outside the beltway on Harford Road, Sullys Comedy Cellar at the Bowman begins weekend shows at 8:30 p.m. on Fridays and 9 p.m. on Saturdays. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each show.
Why Go? Tyrone Davis, featuring T Brad Hudson with emcee Greg Stevens, promise to host a rip-roaring good time with an overdose of the best medicine.
Pricing: Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance for around $12.  Pricing sometimes changes for special events, so check the website for updates. Reservations are encouraged to guarantee a seat for you and your party. 

FREE Beer
Where/When: On Friday, in Perry Hall will host two breweries from Vermont for an evening of beer sampling from 5  to 8 p.m.
Why Go? Check out Honeygo Wine & Spirits, a beer-lover's heaven; a nice start to the weekend and happy hour.

SATURDAY

Elkridge Harford Hunt Point-to-Point

Where/When: Atlanta Hall Farm in Monkton on Saturday (Gates open at 12 p.m.); Posttime is set for 1:30 p.m. 

Why Go: Maryland Steeplechasing season gets into full swing with this competition.

Pricing: $50 for patron parking, $100 for subscriber, $200 for finish line.

Community Clean-out  
Where/When: 9632 10th Avenue in Parkville will be the location for a large community yard sale on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Be an Environmentalist
Where/When: Show up on Melanie Court in Carney to be a part of watershed conservation in action on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go? Be a part of The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy's mission on the Jennifer Branch Preservation Project. Volunteers can be 8 years old and up, but must be accompanied by an adult if under 16 years old. A rain or shine event, be prepared with long pants, work gloves, work boots, a hat and a smiling face as you do your part in conserving our streams. Arrive by 9:15 a.m. to sign in. Pricing: The only cost is your time and sweat equity.

SUNDAY

Celebrate Biodiversity
Where/When: At , the folks of Willow Grove Nature Education Center host an outdoor education event fit for all ages. On Sunday, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., find out why 2011 has been named the Year of the Turtle.
Why Go? The U.S. is a turtle biodiversity hotspot, and Parkville is no different. Explore turtle habitats, learn turtle facts, and have your child complete a turtle craft to bring home and put on the fridge.
Pricing:  Reservations are required and the cost is $2 members/$4 non-members.
