Homicide Detectives Investigate Essex Woman's Death
Police said that killing was not random, 47-year-old woman appeared to have been targeted.

The death of an Essex woman whose body was found in her living room Monday is being investigated as a possible homicide, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Shelly Lynn Fillion, 47, of the unit block of Skipjack Court, was found deceased partly under a pull-out sofa in her home, police reported. She suffered traumatic injuries, the report said.
A family member notified police, according to the report.

After not hearing from Fillion since Saturday, a family member went to check on her Monday, and upon finding her body, alerted authorities, police reported.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
