MCW Gives Back With a Free Show at the Wild Duck Cafe
Pro wrestling fans were treated to action, title change at the Bowleys Quarters event.
The MCW wrestlers didn't just battle each other during MCW Insomnia, a free performance held at the Wild Duck Cafe in Bowleys Quarters on Thursday, they battled the weather and darkness as well.
The bouts were delayed almost an hour due to rain, but finally the rain cleared up, MCW staff dried the ring and the wrestling got started. The rain held off long enough for all the matches to be wrestled, but then as the sun set behind the river, darkness set in. Quick thinking by the MCW staff improvised lighting, allowing all the matches to be wrestled.
“We really wanted to give back to the fans,” said MCW Commissioner Jimmy Cicero. “Obviously the weather threw us a curve ball I want to thank the fans for sticking it out, and thank the Wild Duck Cafe for allowing us to come here and put on a free show.”

Before the matches got started, Cicero and the Napalm Bomb led the fans in the Pledge of Allegiance to celebrate Navy Seal Team Six's recent assassination of Osama Bin Laden.
Then the Napalm Bomb made short work of Spoiler #2, pinning the masked wrestler in less than a minute.

In the forth match of the night, Aida Marie beat Arlene.
“I can hit as hard as the men,” Aida Marie said “I think Arlene learned that tonight.”
In the next match, a special tag-team grudge match, and Ryan McBride took on the Bruiser and Ronnie Zucco. Tofiga and McBride were disqualified when Tofiga carried Zucco to the pier and threw him into the drink.
In the last match of the evening Cobian was finally able to wrestle the MCW heavyweight championship belt away from Tyler Hilton.
The next MCW even will be the Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup 11, being held on June 30 at the Green Room in Dundalk.
