Middle River Firefighter Charged With Child Porn Possession

Police said the firefighter from Middle River has been suspended.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD - A member of the Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company has been charged with child pornography possession, officials reported on Monday. He has since been suspended from the fire company, according to police.

Adam David Burgan, 29, of the 1700 block of Middleborough Road, was charged with three counts of child pornography after police received information about pornographic images on his laptop, officials said.

Authorities said they verified the information regarding the photographs, and Burgan was arrested on Sept. 27. He has since been released on $10,000 bond.

Police said on Monday that Burgan was put on administrative suspension at the Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company due to the charges.

Burgan is slated to appear in Baltimore County District Court on Dec. 4.
