Middle River Man Dies After Crashing Into House: Police

Police said the driver from Middle River hit a mailbox, fence post and foundation for a house.

ROSEDALE, MD — A Middle River man died when his vehicle crashed into a house off Philadelphia Road Saturday night, police said.

Gary Wayne Auberg III, 28, of the 200 block of Middleway Road, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash in the 8500 block of Philadelphia Road, according to officials.

Auberg had been headed west on Philadelphia Road around 11:35 p.m. when he lost control of his Hyundai Genesis, hit a mailbox and struck a fence post before crashing into the concrete foundation of a house, according to officials.

Baltimore County medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Auberg had been passing other vehicles on Philadelphia Road prior to the crash, officials reported.

Police said that speed may have been a factor.
