Security Guard IDed as Gunman in Murder-Suicide: Police

Murder-suicide in Middle River involved a couple who no longer lived together, had argued about finances, Baltimore County police report.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD – Police have identified the couple who died in the murder-suicide in Middle River on Tuesday.

Muhammadu S. Igomigoh, 49, of the 300 block of Shagbark Road, is believed to have shot and killed his estranged girlfriend before turning the gun on himself, police said.

Nnenna L. Ogbonna, 44, of the 700 block of Northrup Lane, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police said Igomigoh and Ogbonna had two children together but no longer lived together and on Tuesday he had come to her home, where they argued about finances before the shootings.

Igomigoh was a security guard and had a carry permit for the gun for his job, according to police, who said the gun was legally registered to him.
