Tractor-Trailer Clears After I-695 Flip: SHA
A crash on Interstate 695 temporarily shut down the beltway in one direction.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An overturned tractor-trailer snarled traffic for hours on the outer loop at Interstate 695 Monday afternoon.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after noon.
At 3:50 p.m., the State Highway Administration reported that all lanes had reopened.

As of 12:30 p.m., the outer loop was completely shut down for cleanup. The left lane and left shoulder on the inner loop of the beltway were also closed.
