Driver Sought in Fatal Hit-and-Run in Essex: Police

Authorities say they found suspect vehicle. Anyone with information may contact police at 410-307-2020.

A woman was killed in a hit-and-run in Essex Monday morning, police said at 9 a.m.

Authorities responded to Eastern Boulevard at Virginia Avenue for a crash at 5:30 a.m. and found a woman who was declared dead at the scene, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department.

The victim has been identified as Lisa Renee Strine, who had been on foot, police said.

The vehicle involved in the crash was identified as a white Nissan Murano that left the scene, headed west on Eastern Boulevard, according to the report.

Before 9:30 a.m., police said the vehicle had been found in Baltimore City; however, authorities said nobody was inside the vehicle, and they were continuing to look for information about the driver.

Eastern Boulevard was closed until 9:30 a.m. for investigation, police said.
