Woman Found in Bathtub at Essex Motel: Police

ESSEX, MD – Authorities say they are investigating a homicide after finding the body of a woman at an Essex motel.

First responders were dispatched to a cardiac arrest at the Super 8 Motel in the unit block of Stemmers Run Road before noon on Thursday, April 7, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Rhonda Lynn Garrison, 45, of the unit block of McCormick Avenue, was declared deceased at the scene, police said.

According to officials, Garrison was found lying in the bathtub with multiple injuries.

The county's homicide unit is investigating the death. Officials said there is no danger to the community.
