• Retired Baltimore cop forgets his usual lottery stop and lands $1M Powerball prize (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Kingsville resident who usually buys his Powerball tickets at the Fallston Walmart instead stopped at Harvest Fare on Belair Road and ended up winning a $1 million prize. The retired Baltimore police officer matched five white balls in the Aug. 10 drawing, and the Fallston grocery will receive a $2,500 bonus for selling the lucky ticket. He plans to pay bills and fund a Florida vacation.
