BLACKIE: Cat of the Week

Why, hello there! My name is Blackie, and I'm a 12-year-old, neutered male who came to the shelter as a stray. If I could only talk, I'd have so much to say about all I've seen in my 12 years. I'm a special little guy who's positive for FIV, which means I have feline immunodeficiency virus. I must be an indoor-only kitty, and as long as I'm properly introduced, I can live with other cats without spreading the illness. I'm very shy, so I would prefer a more quiet home. Don't be surprised if I hide for a few days after you get me home. Once I feel secure, I really enjoy getting head rubs!
