Fallston Girls Volleyball: 2nd Place Entering Final 3 Games

The Cougars girls volleyball team is 7-1 after a win on Wednesday.

The Fallston girls volleyball team is 7-1 after a win on Wednesday and sits in second place in the UCBAC Chesapeake Division standings entering its final three regular season matches.

The Cougars defeated Elkton with straight-set scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-21, according to coach Michael Turlik.

The coach added: "The ladies were led by Brittany Callahan with 7 kills, 6 aces and 10 digs and Lauren Woollen with 5 kills. Emily Mozal put up 18 assists, Anna Holehouse contributed 27 digs and Campbell Brady put up 3 blocks."

The Cougars JV squad won with scores of 25-11 and 25-4.

Rising Sun (7-0) led the Chesapeake Division entering Thursday.

The Cougars host games against North East and Rising Sun next week before closing out the season with a match at C. Milton Wright.
