HENRY: Dog of the Week

Our featured dog this week is Henry, a 2.5-year-old Pointer mix:

On the surface, Henry is a sensible and dignified dog, but beneath that noble appearance lurks a fun-loving guy. Romping around the yard and checking out every scent is what he loves. Could this lemon-white Pointer mix be a hard-charging field trail competitor? Could he be the dog to share the sofa with during the big game or play ball with the kids for as long as they want?

Henry is looking for some dog-savvy kids over 8 years old. He doesn’t want to knock down any little guys. Cats also may excite his hunting instinct so best to be safe and keep the kitties away. This boy does have some manners - he knows sit, down, stay, come and walks great on a leash (but you’ll have to stop so he can smell everything!!). Henry would make a great jogging or bicycling companion, and at just 2 years old, Henry is ready to find his forever family.
