JASPER: Cat of the Week at the Humane Society of Harford County

Did you know in Greek the word "Jasper" means spotted stone? If you look into my eyes, they kinda resemble that. Perhaps that's how I got my name! I am a gentle older fellow who just wants to spend his time on a comfy couch, bed or pillow. I would love to lay in a windowsill and feel the sun on my fluffy fur or a nice warm lap where I can get lots of pets. At my age, I don't want to entertain young cats or have to correct over exuberant young dogs, know what I mean? So to be your one and only would be just purrfect for me.
