MARYLAND MEP APPOINTS MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY PRO ROMAN TRASKA AS STEWARD OF SALES AND CLIENT SERVICES
MD MEP's New Employee to Lead and Manage Technical Projects for Organization's Targeted Manufacturing Clients
The Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MD MEP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing manufacturing in the State of Maryland, announced today that the organization has expanded its team with a new Steward of Sales and Client Services, Roman Traska. In this role, Traska will be responsible for building relationships and helping Maryland manufacturers look to MD MEP to improve manufacturing processes, products, sustainability, sales and market size.
Traska’s main responsibility as a Steward of Sales and Client Services will be to manage all activities within MD MEP’s defined territory to achieve client-company new and retained sales, job retention and growth, new capital investment and cost savings, and clients served. Traska will also be responsible for identifying and electing prospective manufacturing clients to promote MD MEP service capabilities; developing and leveraging relationships with governmental organizations associated with MD MEP; and, leading and directing various technical projects.
“I am thrilled to be part of the MD MEP team and lead the organization’s efforts in sales and client services,” said Traska. “I am looking forward to applying my skills, expertise and knowledge to help MD MEP continue its mission and build its already stellar roster of Maryland manufacturers, as well as help grow MD MEP’s brand as experts of and the sole resource for manufacturing in the State of Maryland.”

Prior to joining MD MEP, Traska served as the Principal for MPI, Inc., an engineering firm focused on manufacturing process improvement, project management and product development in the Mid-Atlantic region, where he worked with manufacturers of all sizes and across a range of industries to provide actionable solutions to the organizations’ production challenges.

Traska graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He currently resides in Monkton, Maryland.
