MITZI: Dog of the Week

My name is Mitzy, and I was in foster care after becoming a momma and caring for my puppies. They are all grown up and adopted, so now it's my turn for my happily ever after. I am a very sweet girl. I love everyone I meet and will be sure to sit right in anyone's lap. I love to go for walks and I do walk very well on a leash. I am crate trained and housebroken. My favorite activities are going for walks and hikes. And I LOVE water! I chase the hose, and I love my kiddie pool at my foster home too!

My foster mom believes I would do well with children, for I have a very gentle nature. She also thinks I could do well with other dogs. I am more dominant, so I would pair best with a more submissive dog. But I'd also do very well being the only dog in the house. As for cats, I am not too sure of them. I am very curious about them, but my foster mom didn't see any aggression.
