PONCHO: Dog of the Week

My name is Poncho and I would LOVE to be your couch potato, bed hog, milk bone-loving addition! Picture it now...me and you snuggling on the couch on a cold winter's night binge watching our favorite Netflix show. I mean look at me...what's not to love about this cute face?? And the girls at the shelter love to pinch my cheeks and tell me how adorable I am.

You may not have seen me available for adoption before, although I have been here since summer. I had a rough start and was diagnosed with heartworm but the great staff here ay HSHC were on top of it and treated me right away so now I am all better and ready to conquer the world...or a few treats!

I feel like a new pup and I love going for long walks, giving kisses and finding my way onto your lap. I have officially finished my heartworm treatment and I am hoping to find my furever home! Please fill out an application on our website, or come by the shelter and ask about me!
