SHADOW: Dog of the Week

Shadow is a gentle soul with a heart of gold who is so full of life. He loves going for long walks and being outside, yet he is very calm in his kennel. His previous owners said that he enjoys being around people and larger dogs and he got an “A” on his dog test at the shelter! He’s at the shelter because he wasn’t getting along with the cat in his previous home. We know Shadow would do great in a home where there are no small dogs or cats!

Shadow has been chosen as our dog of the week by volunteer Dana W. who says, “Shadow’s been overlooked by potential adopters for far too long. Give him a chance and I just know he will steal someone’s heart!” Shadow is doing very well learning how to walk on a leash. He is smart, he knows sit, down, stay and come. He is eager to please and always ready to learn new things.
