SNICKERS: Cat of the Week at the Humane Society of Harford County

My gold, black and white "calico" coat earned me the name Snickers, and I'm a staff and volunteer favorite.

Greetings, kind human! My gold, black and white "calico" coat earned me the name Snickers, and I'm a staff and volunteer favorite. If I were a candy, I'd definitely be a cinnamon fireball because when I arrived here at the shelter, I was pretty spicy, but with lots of love from everybody, I've morphed into a sweet and cheerful little girl!

Here's some fun facts about calicos: due to genetics, we're primarily females; there's a 3,000 to 1 chance of a calico being a male! We also became the state cat of Maryland in 2001 because our distinctive colors echo the MD flag colors of red, white, black and gold.

If you'd like your very own cinnamon candy, please contact the shelter today - 410-836-1090 or adopt@harfordshelter.org - to set up an appointment to meet me!
