SUNFLOWER: Critter of the Week?
Our Critter Room is empty, but Sunflower said she'd pretend to be a rabbit if it meant some extra attention would come her way!
Meet Sunflower! Just like her name, this 3-year-old girl brings a little brightness wherever she goes. Sunflower has lived with both tiny tots (0–3) and adults 30+, so she’s used to being part of a family and soaking up everyday life.
She’s a playful pup who loves her toys — stuffies, balls, chews, tug toys…yes, please to all of it! Her absolute favorite? A good game of fetch with a tennis ball. She’ll happily chase, tug, and play her heart out with you.
Sunflower has been playful around other animals, but she’d really love to be your one-and-only dog so she can have all the love (and toy time) to herself. She can be a little unsure around some men at first and may voice her opinion, but with patience and positive introductions, she can build confidence.
If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion who will keep you smiling and always be ready for the next game of fetch, Sunflower is ready to bloom in your home.
