Think Pink: A Survivor's Discussion

Television journalist Geralyn Lucas returns to Harford County to discuss her cancer journey.

Television journalist, author and breast health advocate Geralyn Lucas discusses her book, "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy," Thursday, October 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Aberdeen Library, 21 Franklin Street in Aberdeen.

Lucas was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27, having just graduated from Columbia Journalism School and securing her dream job at the television program, 20/20.

At the October 13 event, breast cancer survivors and those recently diagnosed join Lucas to discuss her book and their own journeys after losing hair and health. The discussion will be moderated by librarian Suzanne Vogtman.

Participants are encouraged to pick up a free copy of "Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy," available at the Aberdeen Library while supplies last, to read before the discussion.
