VIOLET: Dog of the Week at the Humane Society of Harford County

I'm part Catahoula, the state dog of Louisiana, and you don't get to be state dog for being plain; you get there for being extraordinary!!

My name might be Violet, but it's blue that I've been feeling lately. Why you ask? Well, it's because I still haven't found a home of my own, and that's all I really want. Well that and a nice, warm

home with a bed I can sleep on. And people that will love me and who I will love forever and ever. Can you be that person I can bring my toys to so we can play?

I'm part Catahoula Leopard Dog, the state dog of Louisiana. You don't get to be "the" state dog for being plain. No, you get there for being extraordinary!! And for being cute. I have adorable gray spots on my soft coat! But sadly, I'm still here, still searching, still hoping, that maybe, just maybe today will be the day that I catch someone's eye and they ask to meet me. Maybe that someone is you!
