To help prepare for kitten season – the time of year when pregnant/nursing cats and orphaned kittens flood animal shelters across the nation – the Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC) is throwing a Virtual Kitten Shower on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Schedule of Events
We’ll kick off the hour with a Meow-Mosa Mocktail toast.
Then we’ll do a bottle feeding demonstration, show some adorable kittens (if we have any), talk about the supplies you need to care for neonatal kittens, play games, describe our life-saving foster program and more!

How to Help the Kittens
1. Check out our gift registry at Amazon and ship your donation to the shelter at 2208 Connolly Road, Fallston, MD 21047.
2. Or, check out our complete Wish List and drop your donation off at the shelter on the following days/times: Monday through Friday from 11am – 6pm; Saturday from 10am – 5pm; and Sundays from noon – 4pm. We have a cart outside our door during these hours. If you need a receipt, simply ring the doorbell and one of our staff will assist you. (Gift cards to area pet stores – such as The Mill of Bel Air, PetSmart, Tractor Supply, Target or Wal-Mart are also gladly accepted!)

3. Consider becoming a foster parent:
- it’s a short-term commitment
- it’s incredibly cute
- the shelter will help with supplies
- it’s lifesaving for the kitten, but also great for your mental health
