35-Year-Old Man Dead After Car Strikes Tree In Gaithersburg: PD
A D.C. man is dead after the car he was in struck a tree in Gaithersburg Monday night, according to Montgomery County police.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — A 35-year-old man is dead after the car he was in struck a tree in Gaithersburg Monday night, according to Montgomery County police.
Jonathan Davis, of Washington, D.C., was driving east on Darnestown Road in a 2008 Audi Q7. Around 6:30 p.m., his car crossed over the median into the westbound lanes, officials said. It then crossed back over the median and into the eastbound lanes and smashed into a tree just before the intersection of Tschiffely Square Road.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the fatal accident are not immediately known. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
