$775K Lottery Ticket In Gaithersburg Unclaimed: Is It Yours?

GAITHERSBURG, MD — If you recently bought a Multi-Match ticket in Gaithersburg, check your wallets, purses, and pockets. That's because the Giant Food grocery store at 842 Muddy Branch Rd. sold the winning ticket — and it's worth $775,000.

The unclaimed ticket is from the Aug. 19 drawing, according to state lottery officials. It has the numbers 18, 24, 34, 35, 38 and 41.

"The Maryland Lottery encourages players to check their tickets by scanning them at any Lottery retailer or with the Lottery's mobile apps," officials said in a statement. "Winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim the prize. For scratch-off games, winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date to claim prizes, with last claim dates published in the scratch-off section of mdlottery.com."
