Every morning we arrive at CCACC where the ADHC volunteers greet us and treat us like family. Our hearts are filled with joy and warmth. Upon entering CCACC, we walk towards the tables and find our seats; each table is like a family โ we sit together, talk together, eat together, read the newspaper together, and share stories with each other. When we hear a joyful story we share the laughter, and when we hear a sad story we cry together and comfort each other. CCACC is filled with seniors, each with their unique personality. When conflicts arise, sometimes they just need time to work it out and learn to be a part of the loving family. ADHC volunteers are filled with love, love for CCACC and love for the seniors. They happily dedicate their time to helping the seniors. We are like a family, and together we can enjoy happy times and share joyful memories.
