According to police, Carranza Castellon was driving a gray 2011 Honda CR-V northbound on Muddy Branch Road when the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons, entered a grassy median and struck a pedestrian.

The victim, 56-year-old Brian Roy Longaberger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
