GAITHERSBURG, MD — Moving full steam ahead with its expansion in Maryland, the popular Wonder food hall will be opening its newest location in Gaithersburg this month.
The grand opening for Wonder Gaithersburg will be held Aug. 13 at 295 Kentlands Blvd., in the space that previously housed Party City at the Kentlands Square shopping center.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony gets underway at 10:30 a.m., with opening festivities including swag bags for the first 100 orders of $10 or more.
The grand opening will be preceded by a three-day soft opening that kicks off Aug. 10 and runs daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Like other Wonder food halls in the state, the Gaithersburg location will offer family-friendly meals inspired by chefs Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson and Michael Symon.
Guests can also expect to see goods from Tejas Barbecue and Magnolia Bakery.

Organizers say Wonder Gaithersburg will also be partnering with the Maryland Food Bank for a roundup program.
The food hall's arrival at the shopping center is just one piece of a three-way subdivision of the former Party City storefront. Wonder Gaithersburg will be joined by STRONG Pilates and the Veterinary Emergency Group.
Additional Wonder locations in Montgomery County are also planned for Germantown and Burtonsville, according to the MoCo Show.
