GAITHERSBURG, MD — A person was hospitalized after crashing a dirt bike into a fence in Gaithersburg, officials said Thursday.
The incident occurred Wednesday and saw first responders dispatched to the Extra Space Storage facility at 26 W. Diamond Ave.
Pete Piringer, of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said only the driver of the bike suffered injuries after crashing into a wrought iron fence.
The individual was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials did not release any information identifying the driver, the events that preceded the crash, or whether the injured individual was the bike's owner.
