GAITHERSBURG, MD — A small twin engine plane made an emergency landing Monday at the Montgomery County Airpark in Gaithersburg.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was reported to authorities shortly before 6:30 p.m., when a pilot flagged problems with a plane's nose landing gear.
Two people were aboard the plane when the incident unfolded. Neither suffered injuries, officials said.
Video released by the department captured the moment the plane successfully touched down at the Gaithersburg airpark.

MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said the pilot had circled the airpark several times while attempting to fix the landing gear to no avail.
"All in all, the pilot did a great job putting the plane down," Piringer said.
The airpark was temporarily closed to flights while officials were handling the case.
