GAITHERSBURG, MD — A staple jeweler based in the Kentlands community is closing its doors after operating for more than three decades.
Kentlands Jewelers-Daviko Gems, located at 109 B Market St. in the Kentlands Market Square shopping center, will permanently close Dec. 24.
The shop specializes in diamonds, gems and precious stones imported from around the world and offers repair work. It also houses an on-site gemologist for appraisals.
"Thank you for all of your support over the years and we cannot wait to see you during our retirement sale," reads an announcement shared on the company's Facebook page.
The brand says it will be discounting its products by up to 70%, noting "everything must go."
Until its closing, the shop will continue to operate 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
