Art Adventure's in Art Basel

These past few days were memorable ones. Much fun under the sun, and much more fine art under the bright stars and sandy beaches of the beautiful city of Miami. Miami's pleasant December weather made it all came together so delightfully. Art Basel in Miami Beach remains the biggest art party and art event of the year, and draws in the largest art crowd to match such a hip and artsy party. Form huge Hollywood celebrities such as Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt to major fashion models and big sports' icons, they all were making their rounds and visiting art hubs and shows within the city. The whole city here and there and wherever one went had art, be it installation art, sculpture or painting. The city lived and breathed art from Dec. 6 to Dec. 10. Art surrounded and adorned the city of “Art Deco” to give it even more elegance and more uniqueness. Amongst the many international and national artists who came from all over the world to the alluring city of Miami is artist Vian Shamounki Borchert. For this year's “Art Basel Miami Beach 2017”, Borchert showed her latest abstract and contemporary paintings with “Irreversible Projects” Booth 307 at the SPECTRUM Art Show through collaboration with the “Miami Art Scene”. SPECTRUM this year was one of the most dazzling of art shows and spaces. It was not only full of interesting and edgy art - It also had a great range of visual arts, and it was packed with many art visitors, art fans and art collectors. Besides showing her latest art creations of original and authentic abstract expressionist paintings, Vian had the pleasure of moderating and art critiquing some of the exhibiting artists' artwork at “Irreversible Projects” Booth 307. It was a great and successful event put together by host and Irreversible Projects' curator Noor Blazekovic. The dynamic Art talk was titled “What is contemporary Art?” where Vian highlighted what makes a work of art contemporary, and what makes a composition successful and effective.
The Art talk took place on Friday Dec. 8 from 1-4 PM at “Irreversible Projects” Booth 307 at Spectrum.
