Artist & Educator Vian Borchert's Art in Montgomery County

Opens today February 24 at Glen Echo Park's Popcorn Gallery the art exhibition titled “Influences: New Works by Glen Echo Park Faculty and Students”. Artist and faculty art instructor Vian Borchert has her “Abstract in Watercolor” painting on display along with work from one of her Watercolor class students. The exhibit showcases the new work of Glen Echo's faculty along with their students.

Vian Borchert's resumes teaching her Spring class at Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio in the Spring after Spring Break from April 16 to June 11. * Moreover, in Montgomery County, Vian currently has on view her solo art exhibition titled “ABSTRACT IMAGINATIONS” at “The Framer's Choice Gallery” in downtown Kentlands in Gaithersburg, MD. This exhibit continues and runs till March 31. In the Exhibit, Borchert has around 30 of her latest abstract expressionist paintings on
display along with some landscape work. All paintings are for purchase. The Gallery is open daily for visitors. Admission is free.

Artist and art educator Vian Borchert resumes teaching her morning art classes in Gaithersburg at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. The art classes start the first week of April for the Spring term. Borchert teaches classes for adults in “Acrylic Painting” on Tuesday mornings and in “Drawing” on Wednesday mornings. All levels of experience are welcome.
