Arts Barn to Host Spring Break Camp: 'Magical Spring'

From the City of Gaithersburg: Registration is now open for “Magical Spring,” a weeklong art camp that will be held at the Arts Barn during Montgomery County Public School’s spring break, April 10 through 14, 2017. The all-day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to students ages 8 through 13. The cost is $310, $260 for City of Gaithersburg residents.

Students will explore the world of fantasy creatures through drawing and painting as well as creating unique, handmade fairy doors for the ‘wee folk’ that hide in gardens. There will be an art exhibit on the final day for family and friends to view the fantasy worlds created by the students.

The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road in the heart of Kentlands and provides arts education classes to adults and children.
