Critically Missing Gaithersburg Woman Found: Police

Gaithersburg Police said Friday that Soraya P.A. Mascall, who was deemed a critically missing person, has been found.

(Updated at 10:40 a.m. Friday) GAITHERSBURG, MD — The Gaithersburg Police Department — which asked for the public’s help as they tried to locate a critically missing Gaithersburg area woman — said Friday morning that Soraya Mascall has been located safe and unharmed.

Gaithersburg Police on Thursday asked the public for help locating Soraya P.A. Mascall, 22, of the 200 block of Park Avenue, who was last seen by family members the evening of Tuesday, April 25. Mascall is considered to be critical as her mental capacity is that of a 12-year-old, police say.

Authorities say Mascall is believed to be in the company of her boyfriend, 34-year-old Koffivi Kadegbe. Police and family members are concerned for Mascall’s physical and emotional well-being.

Mascall is described as a black woman, 5’06”, 190 pounds, dark brown hair, and brown eyes.
