The Junk Removal Industry rose from this economic shift in the 1990’s to provide a service that would provide equilibrium to the amount of consumption and the social habit of buying the new and the cheap. The way Montgomery Counties Waste Management system is structured, Montgomery County Municipal services do not pick up bulk trash. Thus, you have three options to get rid of used household items: donate items to charity, personally, take it over to the Shady Grove Transfer Station, or call a private junk removal service. However, there are restrictions on these methods. If you choose to donate your items to charity, free pick up services do not take everything and do not go into second or third-floor homes, apartments or townhouses. If you choose to take your bulk items to the shady grove transfer station, you must have a pickup truck, and do not get a tax deduction. Finally, if you want a private junk removal service to come to your house, your items will be picked up fast, but thrown away, and you will not receive a tax deduction; there is no middle ground, until now. How does it work?

Residential or commercial, Donation Nation provides a no-landfill waste solution for all removal needs. From donations, recycling, and junk removal, Donation Nation provides an expedient service for all clients who need to remove excess items fast. Customers do not need to package anything, for we do all the work for you, just point and things vanish into blue and green containers (we take everything, no matter the quality). Once items are carefully packaged away, they are carried away by our experienced pickup crew; then put into our 800 cubic foot step vans. The final step is to take all items to our warehouse where we process all items for quality, and donate all primary household items to our non-profit partners.
