Fathers Day Lake Hike

Description: Celebrate Fathers day with Seneca Creek State Park. Enjoy a guided 3.7 mile hike around Seneca Creek State Park's Clopper lake trail. Discover the plants and animals that call the park home, learn more about the natural environment, and discover forest stewardship. Be sure to bring your hiking boots, sun screen, bug repellent, water, and a snack. To participate in this event, please register with the park office.

Directions: Directions: Enter Seneca Creek State Park at 11950 Clopper Rd. Gaithersburg, Md. 20878. Take the first right past the contact station, toward Clopper Lake, and upon reaching the playground, take a left toward the lake. After driving though the playground parking lot, take the next right to arrive at the boat center. Meet at the Seneca Creek Park boat center office.
