Eat, Shop and Register for Gaithersburg Fall Sports at Washingtonian Center
Registration & Discounts at Dick’s Sporting Goods, FUNdraiser at California Pizza Kitchen
On Thursday, August 25, 2011 Dick’s Sporting Goods and California Pizza Kitchen at the Washingtonian Center will join in the support of City of Gaithersburg Sports. When patrons present a fundraising flyer at California Pizza Kitchen, the restaurant will donate 20% of the receipt to the City’s Rosen Sports Fund, which supports the City’s recreational programs for youth. Also on August 25, Dick’s Sporting Goods will host a “Registration Night” for Gaithersburg Sports from 4 to 9 p.m. Special discounts are available at the Gaithersburg Sports desk at Dick’s that evening, including a coupon for an additional 15% off your total purchase.
The City of Gaithersburg offers a wide variety of youth and teen sports this fall, including soccer, volleyball, flag football, and cross country. Gaithersburg Sports leagues are structured to include one practice and one game per week. This allows youth and their families time for other activities. Start Smart™ and sports clinic programs only meet one time per week.
