Gaithersburg Announces 'Hip Hop Snow White' at Arts Barn

From the City of Gaithersburg: Arts on the Green presents “Hip Hop Snow White,” featuring the VF Dance Theater. Performances take place on Friday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $22, $12 for children 10 and under. This performance is recommended for ages four and older.

The talented company that created “Cirque du Dance” returns with a high-energy, modern-day version of the Brothers Grimm story of “Snow” and her seven popping “Crew” battling an evil queen and finding Prince “Cool.”

VF Dance Theater is a Maryland-based modern dance company focused on creating unique works of artistry that reach and engage audiences of all ages. The company uses Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and cultural dance forms to showcase a variety of pieces that tell a story.
