Gaithersburg Announces Holiday Facility Schedule

From The City of Gaithersburg: In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, City of Gaithersburg facilities and offices will be closed on December 25 and 26, 2016, and January 1 and 2, 2017. The Olde Towne and Robertson Park Youth Centers will be closed December 24 through January 2. The collection of recycled materials will take place as scheduled. Bulk pick up for residents whose regular bulk pick up day is Monday, January 2, will take place the following Monday, January 9

While many facilities will be operating on regular schedules on the Fridays and Saturdays leading up to these holidays, please note that staffing levels may be lighter than normal.

City facilities are operating on normal business hours, with the exception of the following:

· Casey Community Center will open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, December 24, 2016

City facilities are operating on normal business hours, with the exception of the following:

· Activity Center at Bohrer Park will open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

· Casey Community Center will open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

· The Arts Barn, Aquatic Center, Gaithersburg Community Museum, and Kentlands Mansion are closed.

Sunday, December 25, 2016

· All City facilities are closed.

· The Administrative Offices of the Gaithersburg Police Station are closed. Police patrol will remain on duty. For emergencies please call 911. For non-emergencies, please dial 301-279-8000 for dispatch.

Monday, December 26, 2016

· All City facilities are closed.

· Recycling will be collected on its regular schedule.

· The Gaithersburg Police Department Administrative Offices will maintain normal business hours.

Friday, December 30, 2016

City facilities are operating on normal business hours, with the exception of the following:
