These Cities Have The Cheapest Cars In Maryland
At over $700 below the state average, car prices in Gaithersburg and surrounding areas are cheaper than the rest of the state.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Montgomery County has the cheapest cars in Maryland, according to an affordability ranking by autolist.com. Gaithersburg has the least expensive cars in the state, followed by Bethesda and other surrounding towns.
The study was done by analyzing over 81 million vehicles and 4.6 billion unique data points on vehicles nationwide, according to a press release from autolist.com. It found the cheapest places to buy cars and which cars are cheaper to buy. Here are the numbers:

- Bethesda — $719 below state average
- Potomac — $684 below state average
- Rockville — $676 below state average
- North Bethesda — $665 below state average
