A Gaithersburg man who admitted selling heroin and cocaine in Montgomery County has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — A Gaithersburg man was sentenced on Monday to eight years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin and cocaine. Jovan Brian Lancaster, 32, of Gaithersburg, was reportedly heard by law enforcement officers in several conversations making plans to buy and sell the drugs in Montgomery County.

Co-conspirator Joseph Leroy Miles Sr., 63, of Westernport, was also sentenced to nine years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release for conspiring to possess with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

According to Lancaster’s plea, from February 2015 through April 29, 2015, Lancaster conspired with George Earl Gee and others in Silver Spring to distribute cocaine and heroin in and around Montgomery County. In February and March 2015, Lancaster and Gee discussed a drug debt that Lancaster owed Gee for a prior drug deal.
