UPDATE: 2 Burglars Killed Gaithersburg Man, Victim's Name Released
Montgomery County Police are searching for two masked suspects who entered a Gaithersburg house and fatally shot a man.

UPDATED at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County Police have identified a Gaithersburg man who was shot and killed Monday night in his home as Ronald Michael Lone III, 23. Investigators say two masked suspects broke into the home and the shooting doesn't appear to be a random act of violence.
Just before 10 p.m., a 9-1-1 call reported a shooting that had just occurred at Lone's residence in the 7900 block of Muncaster Mill Road. Police officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the call and found Lone at the home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim died from his injuries before he could be taken to a hospital.
According to witnesses in the home at the time of the shooting, two suspects dressed in dark clothing and with their faces concealed, entered the home through the unlocked rear door. During the apparent home invasion, one of the suspects shot Lone; both suspects then fled from the home.
