Gaithersburg Opens Applications For Summer Camp Programs
Residents will be able to register children for summer camps starting February 1 and non-resident enrollments begin February 15.

From The City Of Gaithersburg: Resident registration opens February 1 for Gaithersburg’s popular summer camp programs. All-day and partial-day camps will be offered for participants in both elementary and middle school. All-day camps operate from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; extended aftercare from 4 to 6 p.m. is available for an additional fee. Program hours for partial day camps vary depending on the camp. A majority of the camps will be conducted in three separate sessions: Session I runs June 26 –July 1; Session II July 3 – July 14; Session III July 18 – August 4.
Specialty summer clinics and mini-camps will also be offered for middle school participants, with sessions focusing on digital video production, music reading, and audio recording, editing and production. The dates and times of the specialty camp sessions vary depending on the program.
In addition to the summer camps, the City offers specialized visual and performing arts camps, sports, gymnastics and dance clinics, and five sessions of the School of Skate skateboarding program. Summer camps and clinics are held at a variety of convenient locations throughout the City, including schools in the Kentlands/Lakelands area and youth centers in the heart of Olde Towne.
