Gaithersburg Residents Can Take Citizen Survey

Gaithersburg officials have put a link on the city's website for a survey of projects and priorities.

From The City of Gaithersburg: The electronic survey is available here and also from a link on the homepage of the City’s website at www.gaithersburgmd.gov through November 3, 2017. These results will be combined with those of a scientifically sampled survey that was conducted by mail earlier this fall, and will be presented to the Mayor and City Council in January of 2018. The survey results help elected officials and City staff prioritize strategic initiatives and direct resources appropriately. The results will also be made available to the public so that residents can refer to them as they participate in the City’s virtual budget public forum in late January, 2018. The forum is designed to collect additional information about what residents perceive as priorities within the Gaithersburg community. The more feedback the City receives the more accurately initiatives can be tailored to meet community needs.

The National Citizen Survey™ is sponsored by the International City/County Management Association in cooperation with the National Research Center, Inc. The questionnaire and survey procedure was designed based on the experience of hundreds of local governments of all sizes. View past results online at www.gaithersburgmd.gov.
