Indecent Exposure Arrest After Girls Alert Parents

A Montgomery Village man is charged after he allegedly exposed himself to two 11-year-old girls walking home from school.

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, MD — Two 11-year-old girls walking home from school Wednesday afternoon alerted parents after a man exposed himself to them, say Montgomery County Police. Charges of indecent exposure have now been filed against John Stovall, 39, of the 19100 block of Stedwick Drive in Montgomery Village.

About 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the girls were walking in the 19100 block of Stedwick Drive when a man, later identified as Stovall, approached them and exposed himself, police say. Both victims ran home and reported the incident to a parent.

Officers were given a description of Stovall and found him at his residence. He was identified by witnesses and arrested.

Stovall was taken to the Central Processing Unit, where he was charged with two counts of indecent exposure. He was released after posting a $7,500 bond.
