Montgomery County Agricultural Fair 2019: Event Schedule, Tickets

Live entertainment, plenty of food, and carnival rides will be in full force during the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Nothing says summertime quite like carnival rides and funnel cakes. So if you're looking to do something fun with family or friends this month, check out the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair.

Founded in 1949, the county fair runs for two weekends in the month of August. This year, you can get in on the action starting Friday, Aug. 9.

The fair — located at 501 Perry Parkway in Gaithersburg — sits on 62 acres of land and features live entertainment, delicious food, and animal exhibits. Among the attractions are chainsaw art, pig racing, a monster truck show, and an ice cream contest.

TICKETS

  • General Admission: $15, Children 11 & under are FREE (free same day re-admission, get your hand stamped at the gate before departing).
  • Parking: $10 cash per car at the fairgrounds.
  • Group Rate: $9 per person (with 15 people or more). Must be purchased in one transaction at the Fair office and picked up prior to the first day of the Fair.
  • FREE parking and shuttle bus service from Lakeforest Mall, located at Lost Knife Road and Odenhal Avenue.

Fair Hours:

  • Friday, Aug. 9 — 3 p.m. to midnight (gates close at 11 p.m. for entry)
  • Saturday, Aug. 10 to Saturday, Aug. 17 — 10 a.m. to midnight (gates close at 11 p.m. for entry)
