Montgomery County Fair 2018: Events, Tickets, Parking, More

GAITHERSBURG, MD — It's that time of year again! The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair is back in town, and we're ready for the rides, livestock shows, monster trucks and all things fried.

From Aug. 10 to 18 at the grounds at 501 Perry Parkway, the festival will be roaring. Fair officials call it "the nine best days of summer!"

On Friday, Aug. 10, the fair and carnival are open from 3 p.m. to midnight. From Aug. 11 to 18, the fair gates open at 10 a.m., and the carnival runs from noon to midnight.

Here's what you need to know:

Pricing:

General admission costs $12 with free same-day readmission, just get your hand stamped. Kids 11 and under get in for free. Also, there's a group rate of $7 per person for groups of 15 or more (they must be purchased in bulk).

Save $2 by buying your entrance tickets online.

Parking:

To get there, just pop 501 Perry Parkway in your GPS. Parking at the fairgrounds is $10 cash. There's also free parking and shuttle service from the Lakeforest Mall.
