Relaxation Through Art

One of the best ways to relax your mind and do something totally rewarding for yourself is to take an art class. We all know and hear about the benefits of keeping your mind active through an art class, and this is utmost true. To have a fit brain you have to work on that. Same like the body, to have a fit and healthy body / physique, one has to workout and eat a healthy and balanced diet. The brain is not be ignored! The brain and it neurons also need to be nourished in a healthy manner through activating the creative side of the brain which is the right brain. In my art classes, I emphasizes on techniques and visual art exercises that help activate the right side of the brain which in return make the person much more creative and artistic. Everything in life is an education. And, through my art education I can help and guide people to see the world in a much more creative way and thus resulting in creating skillful artwork.

I encourage all who might be going through a difficult or challenging life matter to relax their mind and undergo a creative journey by taking an art class. Through taking an art class not only the eyes but the mind will be opened up to a wonderful world of creativity and imagination that has no end. It will be a very rewarding experience; and as I can tell from my students a positive life changing one.

So, do not be afraid to learn how to draw or paint! Be courageous and embark on a creative journey that will eventually lead to self discovery and rewarding happiness in many ways.

To live a healthy and happy life, Art is the key!

As for my latest artwork, I am continuing to work with the figurative theme with emphasis on the human face. Portraits in Watercolor, Pen & Ink, Charcoal and Pastel are my latest creations. I enjoy very much working with multiple mediums which can help give a certain feel and mood to each piece. The Transparent Watercolor medium can give a very soft feel to the portrait while charcoal gives a darker edge to the subject matter. Thus, this is my latest theme Soft vs. Hard when it comes to exploring the mediums and depicting an expressionistic portrait.
