Son Fatally Shoots Father In Olney Family Dispute: Police
A man is charged with murder after Montgomery County Police said he fatally shot his father and then tried to kill himself in a family home.

OLNEY, MD — A 57-year-old Georgia man was shot to death Saturday by his adult son in a domestic-related murder-attempted suicide case in Olney, according to Montgomery County Police.
About 8:24 p.m., authorities received a call for a shooting in the 4500 block of Mount Olney Lane. Police learned the armed suspect, 25-year-old Nicholas Marquis Stull, was possibly inside the home, where he lived with his grandparents.
Officers were told the victim, Michael Wayne Stull, the suspect's father, had been shot and was also inside the house, a police report said.

The department's Special Weapons and Tactical Team responded to the location and entered the home, where Nicholas Stull was taken into custody by SWAT officers. The elder Stull was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nicholas Stull has been charged with first-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and use of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

He had a non-life-threatening, self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to an area hospital.
